Playbooks
Practical playbooks for a lean creator stack.
Three focused routines for evaluating a tool, producing a Short, and keeping affiliate links clear and current.
Playbook 01 · 10 minutes
Use a 10-minute tool trial checklist
- Minute 0–1: Write down one real task and the result that would count as a pass.
- Minutes 1–3: Check the price, trial limits, export options, and cancellation terms.
- Minutes 3–7: Complete one input-to-output attempt with a non-sensitive sample.
- Minutes 7–9: Note correction time, output restrictions, and whether the result fits your workflow.
- Minute 9–10: Choose “adopt,” “compare,” or “skip,” then record one reason and the next action.
Playbook 02 · Repeatable loop
Run a repeatable Shorts production loop
- Choose one specific audience question and write the answer in a single sentence.
- Draft one hook, two or three explanation beats, and one CTA that matches the content.
- Record or generate the source material, then verify usage rights and factual claims.
- Edit for a vertical frame, readable captions, clear audio, and a direct opening.
- Review the finished video once without stopping, then fix only errors that block understanding.
- Publish with a destination that matches the CTA, test the link, and log the topic, hook, date, and URL.
Playbook 03 · Link checklist
Follow an affiliate-link hygiene and disclosure checklist
- Confirm that the merchant program allows your channel, wording, and link format.
- Use the intended destination, remove unnecessary tracking parameters, and test the link in a private browser window.
- Place a plain-language affiliate disclosure where readers can see it before or near the recommendation.
- Label sponsored material when applicable, and never disguise where a link goes.
- Recheck the destination, price, availability, and offer terms on a regular schedule.
- Keep a simple record of the merchant, destination, disclosure text, and last review date.
Platform and local requirements can differ, so check the rules that apply to your situation.
