What this site is

StackPilot is a public site with guides to creator and AI software and a small store. You can read the guides and buy digital products without creating an account.

Information we collect

• Request data that Cloudflare, which hosts the site, handles to deliver the pages and keep them secure: your IP address, your browser's User-Agent and the referring page.
• Page views. This site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless page-view counter. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, and it gives us only aggregate counts such as page views and referring sites.
• A click record when you open one of our short links (/go/) or a partner button on our pages. See "Click records" below.
• Checkout details processed by Stripe when you buy a digital product. We do not store card numbers.
• Email addresses you submit for the free playbook / checklist list. Used only to send that resource and related StackPilot updates. You can ask to be removed at any time.

Click records

A click record holds the time of the click, which link was opened, the offer route and partner it leads to, where the link sat (a tag on the link, the page the button is on, or else the kind of site you came from, such as YouTube, a search engine or none), the link's own source tag, a device class (mobile, tablet, desktop or other) and a hashed visitor id. A click through one of our outbound buttons also keeps the link's id and platform tag, and a click on a product button keeps the channel, page and product it belongs to. The visitor id is a one-way hash of your IP address and User-Agent, cut to 16 characters. We never store your IP address, your User-Agent or the address of the page you came from.

We use click records only to count clicks per link and per placement. Requests from link checkers and other programs are kept as previews and never counted as clicks. Click records written from 6 October 2026 are deleted automatically after 40 days, as are previews and the visitor ids kept to count unique visitors. Click records written before 6 October 2026 have no automatic expiry and are kept until they are deleted. Only each link's counters (its click totals and the time of its last click), which hold no visitor data, are kept longer.

What we do not do

We do not sell visitor lists. We do not run a third-party advertising pixel stack on these pages. We do not collect viewer data from social platforms through this site.

Third parties

Cloudflare hosts the public pages and may count page views for us with Web Analytics. Stripe processes payments. Affiliate networks (Impact, and others) receive a click when you continue to a merchant.
