Fireflies for meeting notes and transcripts

Writing up a meeting usually means taking notes while you talk, or watching the recording again afterwards. Fireflies offers to do that part: according to its own site, it can transcribe, summarize, search and analyze your team's conversations, with an AI notetaker that you invite to your meetings.

Per Fireflies' site, it connects to Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Webex. That suits people who spend much of the week in calls and want a searchable record of what was said and agreed. If you rarely have a meeting you need to look back on, notes by hand are enough.

Before you choose it, check three things on Fireflies' own pages. Plans: per Fireflies' site there is a Free plan as well as Pro, Business and Enterprise plans, and what each includes differs, so compare them on its pricing page. Consent: a notetaker records everyone in the call, so tell them first and follow the recording rules that apply where you and they are. Data: read Fireflies' privacy and security pages before you connect your calendar or a work account.

This page is a guide, not a review: we have not run Fireflies on our own meetings, so what it does comes from Fireflies' own site, and its plans and features can change. StackPilot is not Fireflies, so questions about plans, billing or your account go to Fireflies. If it fits how you work, the button opens Fireflies' site through our affiliate link.
